Boston Blackie was an NBC radio show to replace Amos 'n Andy. The show aired from 1944 through 1959 and over 200 episodes were aired.
Blckie would always get involved in a mystery and solve it, much to the Inspector's amazement. During the beginning the Inspector was cold towards Blackie, however as the shows progressed they began working as a team.
