Amos 'n' Andy was a comedy in the United States from the 1920s through the 1950s. The show started as radio comedy series from WMAQ in Chicago, Illinois. After the series was first broadcast in March 1928, it grew in popularity and it was soon estimated that over a third of Americans tuned into the show.
